Thursday was spent preparing the engine for removal, and Friday the plane became nearly 700 lbs. lighter. As you can see from the pictures, the entire removal process is pretty straight forward. Next step is to remove all the lines and hoses to begin the FWF rebuild process. The new engine is being cosmetically detailed at this time and will be ready for installation in a few weeks.
