Cockpit Progress

Things are starting to get a bit more exciting as the disassembly stage is behind us and we are starting the build up process. The first thing that needs to be done is interior primer and paint.

The baggage compartment is now primed and ready for paint.  It has been too cold to paint the last few days so we're on hold with the paint until we get a warmer day...otherwise the paint won't flow out well and we'll end up with an "orange peel" look.

This shot shows the front cockpit being readied for paint, and also the new windscreen is trimmed and test fit.

Canopy parts in various stages of completion.  We completely disassemble the canopies, bead blast, primer, paint, and reassemble with Cad plated hardware and new seals (shown in top of pic).
